For seven years, Godfrey Madanhire taught primary and high school learners. Now the former teacher has turned his passion for education into a thriving business that employs 300 people.

Before starting his own business, the 37-year-old Zimbabwean worked as a divisional manager for a successful marketing company, but five years ago he started a motivational speaking business.

His company, Dreamworld Promotions, started with monthly sales of 300 CDs. Today between 30 0000 and 40 000 of his motivational CDs are sold nationwide every year.

Dreamworld has branches in Cape Town, Joburg and Pretoria and recently extended it’s network to Namibia.

The CDs are based on lessons Godfrey has learnt and cover a range of topics from marriage to xenophobia. The company relies on door-to-door sales, as well as subscriptions.
