Do you remember this?
Connie Ferguson and Sello Maake ka Ncube played leading roles, that of a sister and brother in the long-running TV drama series Generations.
Connie made the role of Karabo her own, while Sello took on the role of Archie, born into a rich and influential family and the son and daughter of Paul Moroka.
Oh, wasn’t it amazing to watch their performance as supportive siblings, up until Karabo received the news of Archie’s death in a plane crash right before her nuptials.
And now they are back at it again and their brother/sister relationship is revived in the Mzansi Magic telenovela, The Queen.
The Queen is about a dedicated widow, mother and successful businesswoman, Harriet Khoza (played Connie Ferguson), and Sello Maake ka Ncube tackles the role of a gay person, Kgositsile, who is Harriet’s brother.
