The theme for Limpopo Tourism Domestic Tourism month is “Access for All”, which means this is meant for everyone both young and old and even those with disease, its a theme meant to benefit all groups of people of all ages and sizes.
Our trip had us heading out to Limpopo from the 29th of August to the 1st of September, during which time we travelled to both resorts and lodges and also to game parks and national parks.
Our first stop on the tour was at the Thaba Kwena crocodile farm, and what a sight to see it was. According to our guide, the farm is home to over 10 thousand crocodiles of all shapes and sizes, and from what we saw; some of them were exceptionally huge.
After leaving the farm we visited another one of the provinces great tourist attractions, we headed over for some zip line fun at the Waterberg Zip Line Adventures where we spent most of the afternoon zip lining the day away while beholding some of Limpopo’s most magnificent sights right beneath our feet, it truly was an amazing way to see the sights.
We also spent a night over at Klein Bolayi game lodge and also spent two afternoons learning some cultural heritage on our trip at the Mapungubwe National Park and World Heritage Site and also at the Dzata Museum where we learned a bit more about Venda culture and history.
